Dmitry Mayboroda (piano) , Russia
Dmitry Mayboroda was born in 1993 in Moscow. Since 2000 he studies in the Central Music School under Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the class of Honored Artist of Russia, Professor V. Pyasetsky.
The pianist is a winner of VI Nutcracker International Television Contest for Young Musicians (2005), Alexei Nasedkin Open Yaroslavl Competition for Young Artists (2005), VII Moscow International Chamber Music Festival «Spring in Russia » (2007), and a laureate of the I International Russian Rotary Children Music Competition in Moscow (2000), VII Vladimir Krainev International Competition for Young Pianists in Kharkov (2004), International Competition for Young Musicians «The New Names» (2008), VI International Tchaikovsky Competition for young musicians (South Korea, 2009). In 2006 he won the 3-rd prize on the prestigious Eurovision Music Competition in Vienna.
Dmitry appears regularly in the international music festivals in Reingau, «Kissinger Klavier Olympiade» and «Kissinger Sommer» (Germany), in Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow («Crescendo», «Moscow meets friends», «Mozart-Tchaikovsky», «Cherry Forest», «The Young Musical Kremlin»), and performed at the X International Piano Festival (Antalya, Turkey).
He tours successfully in Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Norway, Lithuania, Israel, Austria, Turkey and Russia in recitals and with symphony orchestras under V. Fedoseev, V. Spivakov, F. Mansurov, D. Liss, K. Arming. His Moscow performances take place in the Great, Small and Rachmaninov' Halls of the Moscow Conservatory.
D. Mayboroda is a scholarship holder of such charitable foundations as V. Spivakov' Fund, «Russian Performing Art», «The New Names».
