Danish tenor will sing 2011 «Boris Godunov» in Copenhagen, «Salome» (‘Herodes') in Berlin and at the Salzburg Easter festival conducted by Simon Rattle and in Paris conducted by Pinchas Steinberg, «Tristan und Isolde» at the Wels Wagner Festival and «Die Walküre» (‘Sigmund') in Manchester.

2012 are scheduled a new production «Parsifal» in Copenhagen, «Salome» and «Das Rheingold» (debut in the part of ‘Loge') in London, 2013 is scheduled, among others, «Tristan und Isolde» in Hamburg, 2014 he will return to Amsterdam for «Ring» cycles («Siegfried» and Götterdämmerung»).

Stig Andersen is a member of the Royal Theatre Copenhagen, where he successively sang the parts of the lyric and lirico spinto before becoming one of the most demanded heroic tenors.

2006 he presented his first production as a stage director at the studio theatre of the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen: «Kain og Abel». In fall 2008 he staged «Götterdämmerung» in Esbjerg (Denmark) and 2009 «Tristan und Isolde» at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen. 2010 he very successfully directed a new production of «Sweeney Todd» and re revival of «Tristan und Isolde» in Copenhagen..

Recordings: «Das Buch mit sieben Siegeln» conducted by Franz Welser-Möst, Brahms' «Rinaldo», C. E. F. Weyses «Sovedrikken», «Siegfried» and «Götterdämmerung» with De Nederlandse Opera conducted by Hartmut Haenchen on CD. 2009 appeared live recordings of Wagnerian concerts in Ruse as well as «Gurre-Lieder» conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen.

On the Decca DVD of the Copenhagen «Ring» he is singing ‘Sigmund' and «Siegfried» in both «Siegfried» and «Götterdämmerung».

DVDs with «Gurre-Lieder» conducted by Mariss Janssons with the Orchestra of Bayerischer Rundfunk and of a "Tannhäuser" production in Copenhagen are about to be issued.

Stig Andersen has been awarded the title of «Kammersänger» of the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen.
